About Us

San Rafael High School sits on a sprawling campus in central San Rafael and serves students in grades 9-12. We are proud that SRHS serves an ethnically and culturally diverse student population. The school has served generations of San Rafael families, while also warmly welcoming recent immigrants. At SRHS, we prepare our students for college, career and life: students are communicators, critical thinkers, collaborators, problem solvers, reflective learners and community advocates.

SRHS's success is made possible by the work of outstanding staff and unparalleled community support. Talented teachers meet students’ individual needs as they learn, innovate and grow in enriching environments. Multiple parent organizations and a District foundation provide enhanced experiences and additional support programs. Working in partnership with the District and its schools, SRHS is guided by a Together 2024 Blueprint and the District values of equity, community and joy.
