We are so excited for our upcoming events and hope you are too! This year's theme is "Let the Games Begin"- we are ready to play all of the games and beat Archie Williams at game! Please review the below to make sure your class wins the spirit competition!


Our Spirit Week will be 10/17-10/21 and each day is assigned a theme. Every Brunch ASB will be tallying Spirit Points. There will be events and games during Brunch→ get excited. 

  • Tuesday =Candyland/Sweet Dreams/PJ Day

  • Wednesday=Cranium/Nerd Day

  • Thursday=Battleship/Class Competition

    • Freshmen=Babies

    • Sophomores=Cowboys

    • Juniors=Superheroes

    • Seniors=Toga

  • Friday= Extreme Red and White



We are excited to bring back our traditional Homecoming Parade. The parade will start at Dominican University at 4pm, down Grand Ave, left on Mission, and across Campus. Each class has been a float theme and will be competing to see who wins. Make sure you attend your class meetings and help your class build your floats over the next couple of weeks. Please make sure you get your permission slips and documents from your Class Advisor or Print HERE

  • Senior Float= Candyland
  • Junior Float= Jumanji
  • Sophomore Float=Life
  • Freshmen= Monopoly




Our Homecoming Game will be held on 10/21 at SRHS vs. Archie Williams. During the Varsity half-time the crowning of Homecoming Royalty will occur and the winner of the float competition will be announced. 



Our Homecoming Dance is 10/22 from 7pm-10pm in Gym 1. Check-in will begin at 6:30 pm. Every student will receive a free Kona Ice.There will be games, photo booth, snacks, and more! Make sure to bring CASH to purchase food items

Homecoming Dance Tickets are on sale in the student store during Brunch and Lunch from 10/5-10/18. Every student will be given a free Kona Ice at the dance

    • Guest Tickets may not be purchased without Guest Pass being submitted and approved by Administration.

Starting a Club: If you would like to start a club or re-up your club charter from last year, please attend our Club Informational Meeting on September 1 @ Lunch in LA 210. We will be reviewing the Club Application Process and direct you on your way to create a successful group on campus!

Save the Date: Club Rush is Friday, September 23rd, @ Lunch in LA 210. Be Prepared to recruit your club members! Mandatory Club Officer Meeting September 15th, @ Lunch in LA 210

Maintaining Club Status: In order for you to be granted your charter and be recognized on campus you must comply with FCMAT guidelines, meet at least once a month, submit your meeting minutes to ASB, and run all events and fundraising through the ASB governing body.

We are exciting to begin the planning process for Homecoming this year. Our Homecoming Game will be Friday, October 21st vs. Archie Williams. Our Homecoming Dance will be held on Saturday, October 22nd, in the SRHS Gym. 


Homecoming Court: The process in selecting the Homecoming Court is as follows

  • Nominations- each Senior is invited to nominate two Seniors who they would like to see be on the Homecoming Court. The Nomination forms will be available during the Friday Advisory Presentation in the Theater- Friday September 2nd and will close Wednesday September 7 at 11:10 am. 
  • Homecoming Hopefuls- the 32 most recommended Seniors will be invited to apply for the Homecoming Court on Friday September 9th. Hopefuls are required to attend an informational meeting on the application process Tuesday, September 13, @ lunch in LA 210. 
  • Homecoming Panel- Homecoming applications are due by Friday, September 23, in Mrs. Ayoob's mailbox by the end of Lunch (no late applications will be accepted) The applications will be reviewed, blind, by a panel of Administration, Certificated, Teacher, and student. A point system will be awarded based on the student's application and involvement on campus. 
  • Homecoming Court-Homecoming Court will be announced on Friday, September 30th, during Advisory. Court members are required to attend a mandatory meeting on Monday October 3rd, in LA 210 @ lunch 
  • Homecoming Royalty- Homecoming Royalty will be voted on by the entire student body after the Homecoming Rally on Friday, October 21. The Crowning of the Royalty TBD.
