PLAYOFF GAMES--The SR Women’s Softball squad qualified for both the MCAL and NCS playoffs. The team’s first round MCAL game today against MC with MC as the host at 4:30 PM. The site is to be determined. The Varsity Baseball Team also qualified for both the MCAL and NCS playoffs for the first time since 2005. Their first round MCAL contest is scheduled for today vs. Redwood at Redwood at 4:30 PM. When the team advances to the next round the games will be played at Albert Park but it is an MCAL League Event not an SR event. Be advised that MCAL ticket prices are in effect for both Baseball and Softball: $7 – Adults, $4 – Students and $4 – Seniors. Let us all go and support the DAWGS! (Galli 5/15-5/16)

SAN RAFAEL'S DIAMOND DOGS-- The Bulldogs got wins over 2nd place Redwood, 4-3, and 3rd place Tam, 3-2, last week which brings them to a 5 game winning streak. The Bulldogs are currently in 5th place with a 7-5 record in league. The win over Redwood was the first since 2006 and the 5 game, in league, winning streak hasn't happened for the Dogs since 2004. The Dogs have been relying on their starting pitching behind Seniors Angelo Zorn, Jeff Ford and Sophomore Jack Cottrell. Gabe Yetnikoff is leading the team in Batting average and stolen bases while Bailey Bowler is the league leader in RBI's. The Dogs have 6 games left, 5 of which will be home games at Albert Park. If the Dogs win 3 more games, they will clinch a MCAL playoff spot for the first time since 2006. Dogs play MC on Tuesday and San Marin on Thursday at Albert Park at 7:00pm. SAN RAFAEL'S DIAMOND DOGS-- The Bulldogs got wins over 2nd place Redwood, 4-3, and 3rd place Tam, 3-2, last week which brings them to a 5 game winning streak. The Bulldogs are currently in 5th place with a 7-5 record in league. The win over Redwood was the first since 2006 and the 5 game, in league, winning streak hasn't happened for the Dogs since 2004. The Dogs have been relying on their starting pitching behind Seniors Angelo Zorn, Jeff Ford and Sophomore Jack Cottrell. Gabe Yetnikoff is leading the team in Batting

average and stolen bases while Bailey Bowler is the league leader in RBI's. The Dogs have 6 games left, 5 of which will be home games at Albert Park. If the Dogs win 3 more games, they will clinch a MCAL playoff spot for the first time since 2006. Dogs play MC on Tuesday and San Marin on Thursday at Albert Park at 7:00pm. Come to a parent meeting on Thursday, May 4th at 6 PM in LA 202. This meeting will be in English and Spanish. Three small/partial scholarships are available. Varsity is on a 3 game win streak, Jack Cottrell recorded a save and also got a complete game win vs Justin Siena in his first ever Varsity start.
