BULLDOG SOFTBALL--

 

 

After a narrow defeat to San Marin on Saturday in the MCAL Championship, the Lady Dawgs received an NCS bid and will travel to Clear Lake today to take on the Cardinals at 4pm. Great job ladies! Keep the season going and represent! (Butler 5/20-5/22)

AUDITIONS FOR STUDENT GRADUATION SPEAKER

 

--will be held on Tuesday, June 4th at lunch in the Library. There are two types of speakers for graduation – Welcome Speakers & Keynote Speakers. See Mrs. Pugh for an application. Deadline to apply is Tuesday, May 28th. (Pappenheimer 5/22, 23 & 24)

OUR RED AND WHITE CAVALCADE IS THIS FRIDAY!

 

--For all participants, cast and crew, the mandatory run through rehearsal is Wednesday, May 22nd after school. Bring any CDs or equipment you need. Plan to stay until 6:30PM or until your part is finished. (Deamer 5/16-5/22) EVERYONE BE SURE TO ATTEND THE RED AND WHITE CAVALCADE TALENT SHOW THIS FRIDAY, MAY 24TH AT 7:30--Singing, dancing, bands, comedy and more! Tickets are sold at the door $7. for students and seniors and $10 for adults. (Deamer 5/16-5/24) DRAMA CLASS ONE ACT COMEDY PERFORMANCES--start next week on Thursday, May 30th at 7:30. Join us for two one-acts Thursday and two different comedy one acts the following week on Friday, June 7th at 7:30. There is no admission charge. (Deamer 5/16-5/24)

TEENS—BE ENVIRONMENTALLY GREEN THIS SUMMER!CANAL ENVIRONMENTAL LEADERSHIP ACADEMY.

 

Have fun exploring parks and gardens, developing speaking skills, study sustainability, and practice movement and meditation daily for ten days this summer! The Teen Environmental Leadership Academy is for youth from the Canal (and friends nearby), July 15-26. Come to a meeting with the

director, Stuart Moody, on Thursday, May 23 at lunch and learn about the program. Meet in Mr. Temple’s Lab, T121. Apply at: www.greensangha.org/tela.

SCHOLARSHIP REMINDERS FOR SENIORS: I’M FIRST SCHOLARSHIP

 

--is for first-generation and undocumented students who will be attending partner schools, such as Chapman, Pitzer and others across the US. Not selected on GPA, $2,000 scholarship is renewable for four years. Winners are strong writers who can blog their college reflections. Due May 24th. SAUSALITO ART FESTIVAL SCHOLARSHIPS--

CANAL ALLIANCE SCHOLARSHIP

THE I CAN AFFORD COLLEGE--

--with Green Sangha! Teen Environmental Leadership Academy is looking for high school students who live in the Canal to experience 10 days of exploring Green Gulch, Pt. Reyes, etc. while learning leadership skills! Meeting on May 23rd in the CCC at 11:35. Apply www.greensangha.org/tela.
