TODAY’S GAMES--Girls Volleyball vs TL @TL – 4:30pm JV; 5:30pm Varsity (JV early release 3pm), Cross Country vs Branson, Drake, Justin Siena @Bond Tempe Dam – 4pm (early release 2:30pm) and

SR Hosting MCAL Girls Tennis Finals, 3pm. (Galli 10/30)

INTERACT CLUB—will be meeting at Lunch today in SC106. (Kalish 10/14-10/15, 10/21-10/22, 10/28-10/29)

RED CROSS CLUB—meeting will be held every Thursday at Lunch in SC103. (Akpinar 10/30, 11/6, 11/13, 11/20)

FRENCH HONOR SOCIETY AND FRENCH CLUB--We will be meeting in AD300 during lunch today to continue planning National French Week. Please plan to attend. French Honor Society members, please remember to bring your initiation fees. Merci! (Truett 10/28-10/30)

MOCK TRIAL—Tonight’s practice will be held in the San Rafael City Council Chambers in City Hall from 7-9. (Allan 10/30)

GOOD LUCK TO OUR SRHS VARSITY CHEER COMPETITION TEAM--as they take the floor this Sunday at the USA Regional Championship for their first competition of the season! Be fierce ladies and show them what the SRHS Bulldogs are all about! (Hoch 10/30-10/31)

UPDATE ON STUDENT PARKING—At this time, we will not be assigning students spots. Parking will be on first come, first served basis. Remember, you can only park in spaces with an ‘S’. We are looking at other option and will keep you posted. (Administration 10/30-10/31)

ATTENTION ALL BOYS BASKETBALL PLAYERS—There will be a meeting on Tuesday, November 4th at Lunch in Gym I to discuss upcoming season and give you information about when practice starts and practice times. Very important that you are there. (Springhorn 10/30-3/4)

THE BOYS AND GIRLS BASKETBALL TEAMS ARE LOOKING FOR INTERESTED PEOPLE—to work the clock, scoreboard, music and do stats for our games. We will pay you very well and feed you! Please see Mr. Springhorn ASAP for more information. (Springhorn 10/29-11/5)

NEXT WEEK IS NATIONAL FRENCH WEEK--In honor of the occasion, we are holding a French Trivia Contest. Here is the first trivia question: How many continents have countries with French as an official language? If you know the answer, write it on a slip of paper along with the date, your full name, and your Advisory teacher's name and put it in the French Trivia Answer Box in the counseling office by the end of

today. We will collect the answers this afternoon and put all correct answers in a drawing. If your name is selected, you will win a prize! Names will be drawn during the French Twister rally on Friday, November 7th. Bonne chance! (Truett 10/30)

IT’S RED RIBBON WEEK—Help keep SR drug free! (Gonzalez 10/29-10/31)

PENNIES FOR PEACE—First place is Ms. Crome with $147.72, 2nd is Mr. Casper with $136.16 and in 3rd place with have Ms. Healy with $108.54. As a school, we raised a total of $1,344.66. Thank you for donating. (Gonzalez 10/29-10/30)

SPECIAL OLYMPICS—Do you need community service hours? Do you enjoy swimming? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you should become a Special Olympics coach. We will teach them how to swim and have a great time in the water. We meet on Sundays at the Rolling Hills Fitness Center from 9:30-10:30AM. See Arielle Zoken or email her at arielle.zoken@gmail.com. SAN RAFAEL HIGH SCHOOL--you are invited to our annual Dia De Los Muertos, Day of The Dead, art exhibit and celebration. At this cultural festival there will be original artwork inspired by Day of the Dead and produced by our very own SR art students. You can bring objects for the shrine and food for the potluck for all to enjoy. There will also be face painting and sugar skull design by donation to benefit our SRHS art program. This event is free, so come on out on Sunday, November 2nd and join in on the fun from 3-7pm !! Family, friends and community are all welcome. (Herrera 10/27-10/31)

THE AVID CLASS IS HAVING A T-SHIRT DRIVE IN OCTOBER--Bring used T-shirts to donate. You can drop them off in the library, counseling office and main office. We will collect until the end of the month. So bring as many as you can! (Keuhle 10/28-10/30)
