EVENTS IN HISTORY—on this day in 1931 – A blimp is moored to Empire State Building (NYC).

REHEARSAL TODAY--during lunch in the Drama room for the actors in the Opera Assembly. (Deamer 9/16)

SENIOR CLASS MEETING—We are having our first class meeting today at Lunch. Come to LA217 to hear about our Homecoming float and pick up a permission slip. There will be snacks. (Walters 9/16)

REMINDER TO ALL SENIORS—who want to be on the Homecoming Court must turn in their application to the Student Store by this Friday, September 19th. (Walters 9/16-9/18)

JUNIOR CAR WASH—There is going to be a class car wash on Saturday, September 20th here in the parking lot from 9-3PM. Come help raise money for our class. (Walters 9/16-9/19)

INTERESTED IN TRAVELING TO ECUADOR? Ms. Kalish will be leading a environmental leadership trip to Ecuador in June. If you want to learn more come to her room (s106) Tuesday at lunch. (Kalish 9/15-9/16)

HOMECOMING PARADE FLOATS—if you organization or class wants to have a float in the parade, please go to the Student Store to pick up a packet. (Walters 9/16-9/17)

IF YOU HAVE THE THREE BOOKS--you couldn’t live without and would take to a desert island, but were not able to make it to the meeting in the library last Thursday, ---- we are continuing the discussion and plan to publish the results online. Come and join us on Tuesday at lunch in the library. Dessert will be provided. (Comfort 9/15-9/16)

LINK CREW BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT—Please read your email about Back to School night. Contact Emily with questions. We need bilingual leaders to give extra help that night. (Busch 9/12-9/17)

COLLEGE VISITS IN THE CCC--Today UCSD will be in the CCC at Advisory, hosted by Ms. Horton. Students can get a pass in Counseling. On Wednesday, September 17th, Middlebury will be in the CCC at 1:55. If you have class, teacher decides to release you or not. On Thursday, September 18th, Boston University will be in the CCC at Advisory. Students can get passes in the CCC. (Nichols--9/12, 9/15-18)

COLLEGE AND CAREER CENTER

UC SANTA CRUZ COLLEGE DAY TOUR--Free UC Santa Cruz College Day Tour, Wednesday, Oct. 1st, 7:30-5:00. Pick up application from the CCC. Deadline due by September 19th. Must be a Marin High School student, grades 9-12, from a family with a low income. (Nichols--9/12-9/19
