Established in 1888, San Rafael HIgh School has been in its current location since 1924, where it occupies 33 acres east of downtown San Rafael. The school serves one of the most economically, ethnically and culturally diverse populations in Marin County.  

It is the mission of San Rafael High to help each student acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in the future and to contribute to society while recognizing the dignity and worth of each individual.
