Prep of the Week - Ruby Jobe

What she did: The sophomore scored five goals apiece in victories over The Bay School (8-4) and Convent of the Sacred Heart (12-5). Jobe has helped the Bulldogs begin 3-0 in the school’s first year with a varsity team.

What she said: “I was really happy when we found out we would have a varsity team. I was really excited to be able to play in high school. Everyone meshes well, and all of the girls are super sweet. We look up to Jeremie and we want to make our teammates proud. We want the team and program to grow to make sure girls lacrosse is a permanent sport at San Rafael long after everyone on the team has graduated.”

Coach’s comments: “She’s extremely dedicated to her craft in lacrosse. She spreads her passion for the game and always wants to see her teammates succeed.”
Jeremie Brunet: San Rafael coach on the “hard-working” Jobe.
